Deraya is currently accessible by car, or by the public bus service of New Minia City. In 2010, a private bus service will be launched in which Deraya-owned buses will transport students, faculty and staff to and from downtown Minia on an hourly basis. Phase of 1 of Deraya encompasses over 450 dedicated car parking spots which also allows students and faculty to drive to Deraya in their personal cars should they need to.
