The Deraya team fully understands the importance of student life to a well-balanced undergraduate experience. With this in mind, the Deraya campus is being developed to incorporate great aspects from some of the world’s leading universities.
- The “centers of excellence” approach is being followed to include as many extracurricular activities as possible to the Deraya community, whereby dedicated staff for the various activities are being hired on a full-time basis.
- Private university transportation is being arranged to facilitate the ride to and from Deraya for students residing outside of New Minia.
- Various recreational facilities have been included in Deraya’s masterplan to cater for Deraya’s athletic enthusiasts, and also for those within its community who are intellectually stimulated by large areas of green open space.
- A wide array of dining options is being envisioned to allow students to explore the various culinary delights from around the world, all within the comfort of their own university campus.
