Deraya has been recognized as Egypt's newest university by presidential decree and currently is in the process of preparing for accreditation by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education.
We have also obtained affiliate status with the American Association of Liberal Education. We also plan to seek accreditation from a US-based accreditation agency. This will ensure that Deraya is fulfilling internationally recognzied benchmarks related to academic content-depth, effective use of assessments, faculty recruitment and promotion, vision and financial standing. Deraya’s team of expert academic consultants in Egypt, the US and the UK are spearheading this effort.
This accreditation will be of great value to Deraya. In addition to elevating the rigor of Deraya’s programs and the efficiency at which they are delivered, it will facilitate cooperation between Deraya and American universities in areas including: student exchange, faculty training, curriculum development, research and faculty twinning.
