Sheikh Saleh Kamel
Sheikh Saleh Kamel is Chairman and Founder of the Dallah al Baraka Group (DBG), one of the Arab world's largest business conglomerates with active operations in media, construction, banking, finance, insurance, real estate and tourism. Sheikh Saleh is also Chairman of the General Council for Islamic Banks. He has a long and outstanding record of philanthropy most notably through his involvement with the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry and through the various charities spearheaded by his Iqraa Foundation. His involvement in Deraya stems from his desire to make quality higher education accessible to the underserved in Upper Egypt.
Sanaa Ghanem
Sanaa Ghanem is the founder of Arab Academy, one of the Middle East's leading e-learning operations. She has overseen the growth of this highly successful venture and through it, has brought outstanding Arabic e-learning to thousands of students from around the world. Ms. Ghanem is the daughter of H.E. the late Hafez Ghanem, the former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education in Egypt. Her involvement with Deraya is rooted in her strong belief in the importance of education to the development of Egypt.
Omar ElKheshen
Omar ElKheshen is an avid entrepreneur and boasts over 7 years of finance expertise through his various business ventures, his consulting post with renowned management consulting firm A.T. Kearney, and his investment banking work with Unifund Capital. He has been based in offices in Chicago, New York, Detroit and Cairo. Omar is also an instructor of Accounting and Corporate Finance at the American University in Cairo. He holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering and a MSc in Financial Engineering both from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
